Watch this amazing footage as Steve Leonard gets up close and personal with a giant octopus in the freezing sea waters. Would you be happy to get this close to an Extreme Animal with giant eys and pale blue blood? Find out now as you take a dive into this beautiful aquatic environment.

Davy jones XD
imagine having a heart attack with three hearts
Amazing. Just amazing. Gotta be careful though. If for some reason the octopus had snapped and attacked, the other diver would have had to kill it to protect his mate. Would be a serious shame
pretty cool creature
well as long as it’s only one heart!! then 2 in spares ^^
That is not dead which can eternal lie…
imagine getting heartbreak with 3 hearts
wow! that is so cool but he said he strives in the cold…. poor octopus
this is boring and stupidd
octopuses are badass closest thing 2 a monster
“He is just checking me out” more like he is trying to figure out how to open the jar, to get at the crunchy goodness inside lol. Awesome creature’s.
homo’s
Nice Video. But that sure was dangerous. These animals are normally harmless, but it’s still a big and dangerous animal that can easyly take down a big shark that would tare you apart and you never know how animals react.
OH MY HAT
1. Amazing specimen 2. WTF? ‘Oh my hat’ 3. I wanna be hugged by a giant octopus! Well, if it takes me to dinner first…i’m not easy! (although cheddar biscuits usually do the trick)
@EATSFALCONPUNCH lol at least you’re honest!
@EATSFALCONPUNCH lol
Oh my god, that was so nasty.
so true, giant squid are much bigger than giant octopus
I’d shit myself…. three times
I’d pee if that was me
It’s true, the suckers don’t have unique brains but they do react instinctively as independent parts when they’re not the main focus of the Octopus’s action.
And they do “hug” stuff to feel them out, like a blind curious sea creature kind of.
Stupid divers who don’t do their research freak out when that occurs though, just because of the sheer size it has in person.
And Giant Squid are much longer, can’t say much about span though. These things can get 20-30 feet wide I believe.
Maybe not a giant, but a amazing creature nonetheless……
giant????
Beautiful
